Villa Via Midrand is an accommodation and conference facility that is family run and offers personalized service and hospitality to all our guests. Situated in the business district of Midrand opposite to Siemens Head Office and close to Gallagher Estates, Kyalami race circuit, shopping centres, restaurants, UNISA business school, banks and in close proximity to the N1 highway, Villa Via Midrand is ideally suited to offer business travelers and conference delegates a peaceful and tranquil environment after a long day at work or attending a conference.
Villa Via Midrand has 19 well appointed guest rooms all with en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, air-conditioning, working desk and chair, tea and coffee station. The guest rooms are housed in two double story buildings surrounded by lush and tranquil gardens. In our spacious dinning area guests can enjoy a deluxe continental or full breakfast while catching up on the latest news around the world on the surround sound plasma screen. Guests may request lunch and dinner from our in house menu or buffet. Our well trained housekeeping and laundry staff ensure that all rooms are kept in a spotless condition and all amenities such as soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and body lotion are replaced daily.
Villa Via Midrand’s conference facility can accommodate 20 delegates (class room style). The conference room is equipped with a flip chart with pens, projector screen, overhead projector, note pads and pens, bottled water and refreshment mints. A data projector may be hired separately. Delegates can enjoy arrival teas and coffees accompanied by biscuits, muffins, pastries, etc. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon tea breaks can be enjoyed in our tranquil gardens. Conference 5 course lunch is served buffet style in our dinning room. The conference facility may be booked for a full day or half day.
Our reception is manned 24 hours a day and our front desk staff is able to assist our guests at all times. Guests requiring business centre functions such as faxing, copying, printing etc. are welcome to request such services from our friendly front office staff. Guest may also enjoy wireless connection to the internet in the comfort of our gardens and pool area in the company of our resident peacock, peahen and their five peachicks. Villa Via Midrand also accepts all major credit cards.
An in-house shuttle service is available for our guests for airport transfers, local attractions, to and from offices in the area, shopping centers Sandton, Johannesburg, Pretoria, etc.. Free on property secure parking is available for our guests. Entrance to the property is controlled by a motorized gate manned by our security personnel under the watchful eye of our close circuit TV.
