This self catering cottage is situated at one of the best spots in Nieu Bethesda, overlooking open spaces and beautiful mountain views in a relaxed country atmosphere. Tranquil and peaceful, good for the heart and soul. A perfect base to rest a while in our beautiful valley, just 2 minutes walk to the famous Owl House and the centre of the village with all his attractions. The cottage is fully equipped and tastfully furnished. In the kitchen you find a fridge with freezer compartment, 2 plate stove, bread-toaster, microwave, coffee and tea facilities and all the needs to make breakfast, lunch or a small meal. In the cottage is one king-size bed with electric blankets,2 wall heaters for in the winter and 1 fan. The cottage has a large private veranda with braai facilities and beautiful mountain views, garden view and forest view. On special request we can make breakfast for you. Only from 15 October till 1 May. Facilities comprices one luxury specious double room en-suite, part of the main house, not part of the cottage. This room has coffee and tea facilities, a private entrance and private veranda with open views. Come and rest a while at Rustpunt, to make it a convenient base for your visit to Nieu Bethesda.

Directions:
RUSTPUNT is situated between Graaff Reinet and Middelburg. About 55 km from Graaff Reinet, N9 after about 32 km follow the sign Owl Route.In Nieu Bethesda follow the signs to the Owl House. In front of the Owl House is a road that goes to the west bank, over the river (dry) Follow this road till the end. T junction, than go to the right. On the corner you see a yellow hous this is Rustpunt. From Middelburg take the N 9 about 100 km, follow the sign Owl Route, dirt road for about 32 km. In Nieu Bethesda follow Hudsonstreet, Owl House, the street over the river etc.
