Fish Hoek

Towns:

Fish Hoek sits at the water’s edge on Cape Town’s False Bay coastline between Kalk Bay and Simons Town. One of the citys fastest growing areas, the town is hugely popular with holiday-makers and residents alike.

The mountains surrounding Fish Hoek are heaven for hiking, caving and rock-climbing challenges. Fish Hoek’s long sandy beach stretches north to Clovelly and boasts some of Cape Town’s most sheltered swimming on the warm ‘Indian Ocean’ side of the Peninsula. Conditions in the Bay are often ideal for surfing, kayaking, snorkelling, sailing and other water-sports.

The suburb has all the essential shopping and conveniences including forex and other banking services, together with South Africa’s major supermarkets (Shoprite, Woolworths and Pick ‘n Pay) and take-away food outlets, 24 hr convenience stores, petrol stations and a gym with flexible membership options (including daily access). The historic fishing village of Kalk Bay nearby is home to an excellent range of restaurants and bars.
