Clovelly

Towns:

Clovelly is a tranquil wind sheltered Cape Peninsula suburb tucked away in the beautiful Silvermine Valley, in the heart of the Table Mountain Nature Reserve. Just minutes away are the False Bay resorts of Fish Hoek, Simon’s Town and Kalk Bay. One of Cape Town's best-kept secrets, scenic Clovelly is tucked quietly away behind the Kalk Bay mountain slopes overlooking Fish Hoek and the Silvermine Valley.

The lush greens of Clovelly championship golf course can be seen from the upper slopes, while a Wetland Nature Reserve surrounds the Silvermine River, marking Clovelly’s lower boundary. Steenberg and Westlake golf courses are just a short drive.

Nearby Fish Hoek – just a 10-15 min walk – has all the essential shopping and conveniences. The historic fishing village of Kalk Bay, a similar distance in the other direction, is home to an excellent range of restaurants and bars. Fish markets, banks, churches, medical, recreational, sporting facilities and shopping malls are within easy reach either by walking or car. A frequent rail service links the far Southern Peninsula to the city centre and beyond.
